Adam Crepelle

Adam Crepelle is a professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Professor Crepelle’s research focuses on federal Indian law and policy, particularly economic development and criminal justice. His research emphasizes how many problems in Indian country are a consequence of inefficient federally imposed rules. He is the author of several scholarly works, including the book, Becoming Nations Again: The Journey Towards Tribal Self-Determination, published by Cambridge University Press. Professor Crepelle has served as an Associate Justice on the Court of Appeals for the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and as an Associate Justice on the Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska Supreme Court. He previously served as a Campbell Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University.
