Grace Lichius is excited to be joining the University of Pittsburgh community as an Event and Research Program Coordinator out of the Center for Governance and Markets (CGM). In this role, she will assist with organizing and executing events, supporting research initiatives within the department, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and students to ensure smooth operations for CGM programs.
Grace graduated with a BA in Political Science, concentrating in International Politics, from Slippery Rock University. During her time at Slippery Rock, Grace gained significant experience in research, particularly focusing on topics like affordable housing policy, democratic backsliding, and the political influence of socioeconomic threats. These experiences, coupled with her passion for research and community involvement, drive Graceโs excitement to contribute to the dynamic environment at CGM.
With a strong foundation in research methods, data analysis, and program coordination, Grace is eager to apply these skills to support CGMโs mission. She looks forward to further developing her expertise while assisting with the centerโs research projects and events and contributing to the vibrant academic community at the University of Pittsburgh.
